Hey guys, today we’re gonna cover adding 5 Star ratings to your website. What’s great about this is it not only sets your website apart from other search results but it also adds a little bit more trust, a little bit more credibility and it looks really cool as well.

Keep in mind you can only put the 5-star rating on product pages or service pages, if you have it on any other page Google’s not going to let it happen or they’re going to take it down. So make sure it’s only on product or service pages.

Choosing The Right Plugin

Here’s the things you’ll need to add the 5 star ratings. I prefer the WordPress SEO structured plug-in or data schema plug-in that’s my preference because it makes everything a lot more simple.

All you have to do is put in the information, there’s no need for coding. We also need at least one review, preferably five-star but work with what you got. It’s only going to take about 5 to 10 minutes to set this up, it’s very very quick.

I’m going to go through with you and show you guys exactly how to get the plug-in. Go to your WordPress dashboard and just go to plugins. Go to add new, in the search box type in WordPress SEO structured.

There are a lot of different plugins you can get but like I said some are more complex, some don’t have exactly what you’re looking for but this one tends to have everything that you’ll need.

Setting Up Your Plugin

Once you add the plug-in simply click activate and then you go to your product or service page that you want to implement the ratings on. Go to edit then scroll down and you will see it.

So to get the five start review on your web page you need to go to review and fill that in, whatever their review is. That’s where you’re going to type all that information in.

You’ll put in the label, the name of the review and you’ll also include the person that gave you the review. You put the rating that you received and that’s all you have to do. Just hit update and you’re good to go.

So now what that we know that we put it on there we want to see that it works. Go to Google and type in structured data testing tool, it’s a product by Google so you know it’s legit.

Now take the URL of the page you added the ratings to and run a test. You should see your review and what it looks like on Google search results.
