In today’s post we’re going to share our Writers Access review. Writers Access is a content writing site that hires freelancers to write a wide array of content for their customers.
So Writers Access is basically one of those content mills where you can place orders for particular content. It’s perfect for those of us that are building out niche websites that we can monetize with ads or affiliate income.
I have many niche websites and just don’t have the time or interest in writing all of those articles. I am a writer but I tend to write about things that I’m passionate about, I specifically focus on this website for my writing.
I have hired out writers from various companies for my niche sites but I have to say that I am very impressed by the Writers Access platform. It’s super easy to use and I love the overall dashboard.
I can see what I’ve ordered, I can see where things are in progress. You are able to communicate with writers within the system. That was much easier than some of the other platforms that I’ve worked with.
Writers Access Review
To be honest with you, if you are running on a shoestring budget then outsourcing your writing is not going to be for you. You will need to focus on doing your own research and writing for your site.
Now if you are passionate about your site niche and have a knowledge about it, then writing should not be that difficult. The main thing is to be consistent.
If you do have the money to spend for writers you then want to figure out how important your time is compared to the money spent. For me personally I had to start out writing my own articles.
I started out with just a couple of niche sites and wrote all the articles my self and that was a time consuming process but as I started seeing some money coming in from those niche sites I started using Writers Access.
It saved me time and I was just using the money coming in to hire the writers. Now with over 20 niche sites almost all the writing is done by these writers and my profits keep growing.
I usually focus on 1500 words unless the topic is very competitive. You will want to hire a writer that makes use of headlines and nice use of paragraph formatting with no extra fluff.
One thing that I found to help immensely is to have them not focus too much on the keywords. Many writers on content sites will keyword stuff your content which almost makes it unreadable.
You will get a much better article if you just have them write the content you want without the keywords. You can always add them where appropriate in your post later.
Doing this you will start to get articles that are very informative without having to do many if any revisions. I can tell you I’m spending more on this platform than any of the other writing platforms and I’ve tried most of them.
Writers Access Review – Pricing
Remember, you get what you pay for. Writers Access has over 40,000 brands and 1,000 agencies that they write for. I do pay the $39 a month for access to their writers, that is the lowest cost plan and I would recommend that.
Content pricing ranging from 2 cents to $2 per word depending on the quality you need. I have been spending 8 cents a word and I will give you a quick tip when hiring writers on any of these platforms.
If you mention to the writers that you are looking for a long term writer for content, many of these writers will give you a reduced rate for the chance of long term consistent work.
For an example, I would have been paying 14 cents per word but with the amount of work I do with my writers the price has been reduced to 8 cents per word.
I don’t mind personally spending a hundred or a couple hundred dollars on an article if it’s a specialty type of article because you’re investing in content.
This is going to live on your blog for a long long time and if you are doing ads or building affiliate income, selling courses or selling software, then this is not a cost, it’s an investment.
When you invest in content it’s very important to have a really good library of great content. You can also repurpose this content and make a YouTube video or a Podcast.
Writers Access Review – Conclusion
I hope you’ve enjoyed this Writers Access review and hopefully this will give you some insight in deciding whether to outsource your content writing or doing it yourself.
So far, I’ve been very pleased with this platform. I love the response and communications with the writers, it just makes the process so much easier.
I have many different niche websites so it frees up a lot of my time which allows me to focus on others aspects of my business. If you’re just starting out with 1 website and on a shoestring budget, I recommend doing the writing yourself.
If you have more time than money or multiple niche websites then I would outsource with Writers Access.
